Regent's Pk the last few days

Regent's Park

Not that I have seen them but there have been reports that on the warmer calmer days birds are on the move.

Great crested Grebe: pair at the eastern end of the Bandstand Island have still established a solid base for their nest due to fluctuating water levels.
Little Grebe: 10 were present on Monday.
European Wigeon: pr still present.
Common Teal: pr still at the eastern end of the lake.
Common Shelduck: pr present on the main lake.
Grey Heron: a couple of pairs now have chicks in.
Sparrowhawk: a pair were displaying above the lake this morning.
Kestrel: the pair in area 32 are going through bonding displays prior to hopefully nesting.
Water Rail: at least one bird is still present.
Stonechat: one was seen on the chat bushes at the weekend.
Cetti's Warbler: the male has been heard occasionally.
Firecrest: there are at least 2 pairs present, one being seen in St Johns Lodge.
Siskin: over 25 birds were present yesterday.

I wouldn't want to be underneath that deposit
