Hello.
I saw my first redstart in the New Forest but the firecrest was elusive.
I saw a comment you left a couple of days ago regarding a bluethroat. Did you mean first in 2006 or first ever? Is there one around? It is a bird I would love to see. Is there anything more you can add?
Thanks. Debbie
I was having a dig at Rose, guessing she had been to see the one at Staines Moor.Having a Bluethroat in the park is quite possible, as they have turned up in London several times. The last was at the Wetland Centre two years ago. Birds seen in April are normally the White Spotted race, these breed in central Europe and over shoot the french coast.
