11th July

Kestrel: The young on Primrose Hill still haven't fledged, where as the young in area 25 are very strong on the wing.
Common Tern: 1 adult is seen almost daily over the lake.
Reed Bunting: The pair in the wetland, area 25 have possibly lost thier young as the nest has been robbed. The adults are still present in the area, it could be that the young had fledged before the nest was taken.
Sparrowhawk: 1 juvenile male was seen in Queen Mary's.

Hello Tony
It was disappointing to hear about the Reed Bunting's nest.

On Tuesday at 8pm the male & female Reed Buntings were still visiting the immediate area. Also at 7.20 & 7.30pm the ringed Reed Warbler was disposing foetal sacs.
