Kingfisher: 1 still present in the Longbridge Sanctuary, areas 25 & 26.
Lesser Whitethroat: 2 in area 29.
Common Whitethroat: 1 in area 29.
Blackcap: 1 in area 16 and 4 in area 29.
Spotted Flycatcher: 2 in area 29.
Willow Warbler: 6 birds in areas 16 and 29.
Chiffchaff: 4 birds in area 29.
Yellow Wagtail: 2 birds flew over.
Linnet: 1 bird flew over.
Swallow: 8 birds flew SW in small groups.
Sand Martin: 1 bird over the lake.
House Martin: 20+ birds mainly over the lake.

Two spotted flycatchers in area 29 at lunchtime, plus three willow warblers in trees just outside the best viewing area, and a green woodpecker and juvenile great spotted woodpecker on the same tree trunk, at the same time! Never seen that before: I don't think either was happy with the other's presence. Still hoping to see a kingfisher. Any sign of the redstart lately?

No Redstart, at least 1 Kingfisher over in area 25 & 26. Today however it was a little elusive. If I see you tomorrow and the birds been showing I will take you to see it.
