8th October

The last three days have been very quiet ,with very little visible migration. Todays patchy cloud improved the chance of some sightings.

Reed Bunting: 1 flew W calling at 8.10am.
Meadow Pipit: 12 birds flew W.
Chiffchaff: 1 in the Leaf Yard Wood, area 29.
Goldcrest: 4 birds along boundary to area 29.
Large raptor sp: A very high large raptor dissappeared into the cloud before I had the chance to get my bins on to it, at 12.10pm.
