Birds in the park are much the same as last reported.
Tawny Owls: 2 males can be heard during the hours of darkness, 1 in area 7 and another that has a territory that takes in areas 2 to 29.
Today I was on buisiness in the New Forest and managed to get down to the coast at Milford on Sea. Wind was a strong south westerly.
Birds seen included: 2 Leach's Petrels, 1ad Sabines Gull and a Peregrine out to sea carrying a possible Leach's.
