Kingfisher: There were two sightings one on the main lake at 6.10am and another in area 1 at 10.30am.
Common Tern: The three birds were again fishing around the lake.
The snake found in the running track has identified as an aesculapian snake, a species that is found over much of Europe. Apparently some escaped from the educational area of the zoo some years back and are apparently managing to survive.
