31st August

Casa Rosa a beautiful 6 room villa set in a rural location half an hour east of Faro and within ten minutes of some good birding at the nearby salt pans. Set on the sides of a valley migrants are funnelled up it. It is a handy base to stay to see all that southern Portugal has to offer, Bustards, Sandgrouse, Lesser Kestrels and lots of others. If anyone wants a relaxing place to stay with home cooked food check out www.casarosa.net
