A very quiet day in the park, with most migrants making good use of this settled weather and have moved on.

Chiffchaff: 4 birds in area 29.
Willow Warbler: 2 single birds in areas 16 and 29.
Blackcap: Singles in areas 16 and 29.
Grey Wagtail: 4 birds flew over.
Pied Wagtail: 2 birds over.
Sand Martin: 2 birds flew east at 7.05am.

Lunchtime sky watch.
Hobby: 1 tried to catch a House Martin at 11.45am, before flying off south.
Sparrowhawk: 3 sightings of 2 pairs + 2 singles.
Peregrine: 1 at 1.10 pm interacting with a male Sparrowhawk, before drifting off to the NW. This was followed 2 minutes later by another bird.
Common Buzzard: While watching the second Peregrine, Dave spotted this bird a lot higher up being hassled by the male Sparrowhawk, before eventually drifting off to the east at 1.25pm.
Swift: 1 over the lake.
Swallow: a light passage with at least 35 birds being seen.
House Martin: 4 over the lake.
