Although most of the south-east was shrouded in fog this morning the park had clear skies. This allowed the chance to observe some visible migration. Most of the movement of birds slows down after 9.00am.

Redwing: 230 flew north.
Fieldfare: 15 north.
Song Thrush: 14 north.
Rock Pipit: 1 flew south-east with a pied wagtail at 7.40am.
Meadow Pipit: 40 north.
Pied Wagtail: 6 west.
Brambling: 14 west.
Chaffinch: 50 north.
Linnet: 10 north.
Lesser Redpoll: 2 singles.
Siskin: 18 flew west.
Starling: 8 high fliers west.
Chiffchaff: 2 singles.
