I am sorry that I haven't kept you informed of what has been going on in the park.

First visit for a while... Feeder Area 29, a lot of Coal Tits - at one stage, six at once on the bags, more than I've seen previously.
Long Tailed Tit flock (8 birds) in the fruit trees to the E of the golf range.
2 Siskins Area 24/25 associated with Goldfinches.
Tony: has the Water Rail made an appearence at all this year?
I am afraid the rail has failed to show. It could be in the other reed bed nearest to the cafe. The best way of viewing that is from the bank opposite. Were the Siskins on the feeders.

The Siskins were at first in the trees at the far E end of the lake, on the other side of the path to the feeders, but one did move onto the feeders.

I forgot to say: a Parakeet was on the feeder at 25..!
