Eurasian Skylark: This species is rarely seen on the ground due to the constant presence of members of the public and numerous dogs.

After yesterdays reasonably good passage of birds today was a bit of a let down. It was a shame the skies clouded over.

Grey Heron.
Six cery high flying birds headed NE at 12.40pm, these were presumed migrants.
Common Buzzard. Two birds drifted slowly to the SW at 12.50pm
Skylark. The first bird of the year was on the ground from 7.25am until 7.55am.
Tree Pipit. One flew over.
Meadow Pipit. Twelve birds headed in a southerly direction.
Yellow Wagtail. Three singles flew over.
Swallow. Passage had slowed to a trickle today.
House Martin. A group of up to thirty were present.
Chiffchaff. Eight birds were seen, mainly in with the tit flocks.
Siskin. One flew over area 25.
