The Little Owl showed well in area 19, at one of his daytime roost sites.



Common Gull: A 2nd winter was on a post in the lake.
Eurasian Siskin: Twelve birds flew west.
Lesser Redpoll: Two birds flew west.
Redwing: Four birds flew west.
Chiifchaff: Two birds were in area 6 this morning.

Great to see the Little Owls are still resident! "Normal" place?

I do not go to this area of the park that often, but had been informed that at least one bird had been showing well recently. As the sun was out I thought I would check the tree out and sure enough one was sat out in the sun.
