Grrrr - spent a while looking for the brambling and the owls this afternoon but no luck! Oh well.
The owls are extremely difficult, and I only saw the Brambling for 30 seconds.

great photos tony. I got some pretty close shots of a heron eating 3 frogs (separately!) last weekend at Richmond. Are the owls less elusive this year?

I did have a great view of a sparrowhawk over area 5 though.
Hi Neil.

The owls are far worse than last year.
Hi Peter.

Sparrowhawks have become a little scarcer in the last two years.
