18th April

At least three males are holding territories.

The male Common Kestrel keeps his feathers in order.

A nice sunny afternoon, brought a few more butterflies out.

A fairly quiet day, a northeast breeze isn't the best for bringing migrants into the park.

A male was above my house at 3.20pm.
Green Woodpecker: Three male birds present.
Sand Martin: Four birds flew low north this morning.
Willow Warbler: Three birds singing.
Chiffchaff: Three birds singing, two in area 29.
Blackcap: Ten birds present.
