27th April

This well marked bird was seen at 7.00am and departed at 12.40pm, it was then seen at Hyde Park at 12.50pm.

A nice sunny start soon detiriated into a dull damp day, with nothing of note apart from.

Garganey:
A superbly marked drake craoked along with the five drakes in the collection. This was the 3rd park record, the other two being in 1990 and 1995.

Just thought you might want to know that I heard about 6 willow warblers when walking through area 18 on friday, and have been seeing a couple of ring necked parakeets hanging around the bottom corner of the zoo along the broad walk.
Thanks for the info, Willow Warblers have been thin on the ground unlike those peski Parakeets.

Cheers
