I am back after my flying visit to Norfolk.
Birding was very limited, with a brief stop on the road from Baldock to Wallington in the hope of seeing Quail. I manged to see one bird crossing a furrow twice.
In Thetford Forest a Goshawk showed all to briefly.
On the sea at Eccles, Gannets, C Scoter, Guillemot a very early or very late Red-throated Diver. Also of interest Bottle-nosed Dolphin and Porpoise.
Corn Bunting: near Baldock, several birds were singing and chasing each other.
