The pair in area 9 have at least two chicks

The male plucks out a breast feather to feed to one of the chicks

The female then feeds the feather to the chick

Crayfish is back on the menu for some birds




Garganey: Drake still present in area 1.
Common Tern: The male was again fishing over the lake.
Grey Wagtail: 2 juveniles in two seperate locations.

Thanks for the kind remark. I like to try and show people what can be seen if they look. Somethings however need a little bit of luck.
