I was never 100% either way, did they or didn't they? Well the good news is that they did, breed that is. The pair of Little Owls were seen with one very large youngster (no photo yet). This years feeding pattern or lack of food going to a nest site on a regular basis, may be down to the fact that they only had one chick. This could be due to the very dry weather we have had.

Female at possible nest site, but I don't think this was the site.

Female sprucing herself up.

Male bird on lookout duties.

The three Kestrel young in the box on Primrose Hill.

Great spotted Woodpecker sunbathing.

Two drake Ruddies that so far have eluded the shooters. How strange coming into London to avoid being shot.

Common Whitethroat: The male was again in trees by the reservoir on Primrose Hill.

Gatekeeper: The first ones were noticed yesterday.
