Grey Seals on Horsey Beach

I popped up to Norfolk on family business yesterday, but managed to take my daughter and her freind to see the recently born Grey Seal pups on Horsey Beach. It was also the first time that I had been there at this time of year, and well worth a visit. We arrived in glorious sun, which unfortunately soon departed behind thickening cloud. Thankfully the rain didn't arrive until we had got back to the safety of the car.

The only birds of note, though that wasn't the purpose of the visit were; 1 Great northern Diver, several Red-throated Divers, Gannets and Guilllemots. On the nearby fields Pink-footed Geese fed and 6 Common Cranes flew by.

Great photos Tony. I went up to Donna Nook seal colony last weekend, which was great. I even saw a pup being born!
