5th February

Nothing new to report, things are as they have been for a while now.

Smew: the female is still present in area 26, and begging for one of the males to mate with her.

The female Kestrel in area 25 inspects one of the new boxes erected two weeks ago.

The pair of Mistle Thrushes on Marylebone Green, area 11.

There is still over 100 Redwing feeding still on the southern side of area 11. Unfortunately this bird has lost the sight in his right eye. He was still able to pinch a worm from one of the thrushes.

These two images show the difference a good back ground can make
