Hello , today 1st aug I saw a dead woodpecker in regents park! I took a picture if you are interested. I am worried about how it died? It did not seem like it had been attacked or anything , I don't understand? Could it have just fallen out of a tree with illness? It looked healthy enough except that it was dead! If you would like to see a picture you can e mail me at Loupsyche@aol.com. It was very early in the morning and so I couldnt find anyone to tell. It was near the Gloucester gate exit just next to that new big wooden climbing frame type thing that looks like a ships rigging?
be nice to get some info into this mystery as I have lived near Regents pak all my life and never seen a live woodpecker let alone a dead one!
