Hi,
I am Terri, I have followed your blog for a while and I will be in London in mid-September. I wish to take some bird photos in Regent's park as well.

Do you mind telling me what equipment you used for taking the photos? As I will in London for work, so I could only bring my 300mm gear, is it good enough to take some reasonable quality bird photos?

Thank you for your advice in advance.
Hi Terri.

There are two styles that I use. One is digiscoping, though not as much as I used to now that I have got my Nilon D5000 with 300mm plus 1.4 converter. Digiscoping is still the best if I need a slightly distant shot or maybe a short video clip. If you want a guide for a while, I am sure that I can spare an hour or so. Normally by mid September we have seen the end of most of the warbler passage and are waiting for the arrival of the first of the winter visitors.

Hi Tony,

Thanks very much for sharing. I will arrive London on 11 September and most likely I will pay a visit to the Park on the same date as we as on the 12 September. I will get in touch with you nearer the time and thanks for offering guide to me.
