This bird showed really well, by the time I had run back to collect my camera it had moved someway off.

Osprey: one showed really well as it headed SSW at 7.05am. At one stage it circled above the lake until forced off by a gull.

Hobby: an adult showed well above area 18 for five minutes as it looked to catch a House Martin. It eventually caught a Greenfinch which it proceeded to pluck before heading off northwards. This could be the same bird that has been seen several times recently and may have a nest not to far away.

Grey Heron: a line of twelve birds headed west at 7.41am. These were not birds from the park as they were a long way south of the park and following the line of the River Thames.

Great Black-backed Gull: six birds flew high west at 7.30am.

Swallow: two flew through.

Common Whitethroat: two bird were in area 31.

Blackcap: only one was seen today.

Willow Warbler: one in area 31.

Chiffchaff: six birds around the park.
