15th March

With mist lingering throughout most of the morning, it was a much quieter day in the park.

Skylark: two birds flew east at 11.00am.

Gadwall were chasing each other around the lake this afternoon

Hi Tony, I thought I heard a Skylark call from overhead in the low cloud yesterday (15th) just before 0900h. It was faint so wasn't 100% sure.
Cheers Fraser.

If the Broadwalk is your normal way through the park, keep a lookout for Wheatears on the open spaces to the east of the path as it is an area that we do not get around to very often. It is not on our daily route.

Cheers

Tony
