The Little Owl at his winter roost site, towards the southern end of area 25.

The Firecrests are still present in the Leaf Yard Wood.

This drake Shelduck is part of a pair that has returned for the past three years.

Unfortunately this proud pair of Egyptian Geese have managed to breed in the park. This is only the third breeding record.

I stopped by to try and get the owl on my 'cycle to work' list but could't find it. Will try again (and hopefully post more sightings for you here).

We need more reports from other birders. It tends to be all Dave and me, with little help from a handful of other casual birders. The Little Owl shows well when they are feeding young. If you want to get a few photos email me and we can arrange an early morning viewing.
