20th May

Sedge Warbler: one was singing in the Wetland Pen, area 32 this morning.

Jackdaw: one chased a Heron off.

Female Kestrel bringing rodent to the young in the nest

The female brings in a variety of insects to the nest. The male hasn’t been seen bringing in anything.

Hi Stuart.

It is strange that the male is taking no part in the feeding. It could be that he has died and the male that is singing is another bird.
