A dry start to the day allowed me to check on the Little Owls, having agreed to meet Adam and his girlfriend Aga and to hopefully give them the opportunity to get up close and personal with an adult. The rain then arrived at 7.50am, just as Dave and I had started our rounds. There had been a Common Tern present, but that must have returned to Brent Res.
Still sheltering from the rain, the young see the male returning with food. This he drops of and leaves the young to squabble over it.
