Common Tern: pair present on lake.

Willow Warbler: one seem by Long Bridge at 7.30am moved to area 33 later.

Chiffchaff: at least eight birds in and around the Wetland Pen, several juveniles.

Blackcap: four in area 31.

Common Whitethroat: birds present in area 31.

All the juveniles showed well early this morning, by mid morning the only one that I could see was on top of a Horse Chestnut tree. The three photos below were taken with my Nikon D5000 SLR with 300mm plus 1.4 converter.

In the last few days there has been a few recently fledged Mistle Thrushes and Blackbirds. I also found a nest with almost ready to fledge Song Thrushes in.

These two Bees were flying around locked together. The first Wasp Spiders (below) of the year are now appearing.
