I'm up to speed now with the Blue/Brown locations.

So I wonder why the Stonechat should be rare in Regents Park yet not so in Bushy.

Your dedication to this area is to be commended Tony.

Another group of very nice shots, what a day for the weather today.
Pete.

The park has very few areas that would appeal to either Stonechat or Whinchat. These areas are small and really suffer from disturbance by people and dogs. If you look at the map at the top right-handside of the page, you will see photos of birds and some of the habitats that they were found.
Marc
It was a good day in the end, though first thing was a bit gloomy and a couple of birds went begging. However there is always another day.

Two redwings at 7.20am on 24 Feb in Area 29, in trees bordering the northeast corner of St John's Lodge garden. (They later flew west along the Inner Circle.)
Thanks for that, hopefully I can spend sometime in the park tomorrow.
