Fieldfare: 14 in the paddocks.

Redwing: 55 present around the park.

I witnessed something a little unusual today, 4 Long-tailed Tits and 2 Chiffchaffs feeding on a small area of fairly short rough grassland.

Tony, just a quick thanks for your great blog - has inspired me to go birding in Bushy Park weekly since the start of the year.

Today I saw 18 Wax Wings in the Canal Plantation at 3pm and the Little Egret in his usual spot in the Woodland Gardens... managed to hit 50 species today - made up for the freezing cold waether.

Keep up the good work....
You're a braver birder than me, that wind and what ever you call that stuff blowing horizontally was to much. I had what looked like a similar sized flock of Waxwings fly past my office window in White Lodge. There has been a flock across the river at East Mosley cricket club recently.
