Bushy Park

Again not much time to do any birding apart from moving between jobs.

Hobby: one seen carrying food over the Hampton Court Road.

Cettis Warbler: one singing by the Longford River just north of Dukes Head Passage. This bird has been in the area for several days and is a 1st for the park.

Willow Warbler: one singing in the same area as the above.

31Jul - 1 Aug: The barest trickle of autumn migrants so far. Brambles in front of Leaf Yard Wood clearing are only just beginning to ripen - worth checking for Gard'n Warbler & Less'r W'throat the next few weeks.
Little Grebe - parent with 2 yg today (cf 3 yg yesterday) off Longbridge Sanctuary viewing platform (area 35), 2 Willow Warbler yesterday a. 34 & 39 (+ 1 a.34 today), 3 Reed Warbler today (♂ subsong & 2 fledglings in Deadman's Corner island reedbed a.34), flocks of 14 House Martin (summer high) & 12 Swift yesterday after heavy shower
