Bushy Park

White Lodge seen from Kingston and then from just beyond the Diana Fountain. My office is upstairs in the middle of the building and at least 3/4 of a mile from the fountain.

Cormorants like to perch on the statue.

This Mute Swan, though it didn’t breed on the fountain after first chasing off the pair of swans that wanted to breed here, then took his cygnets from the Heron Pond and then left them to perish there on their own.

It is a great place to observe at the moment one but soon 2 Common Terns catching fish for their chicks that are somewhere nearby.

I continue to enjoy your photos Tony. Thanks.
Yesterday I saw a heron with its wings outspread , cormorant fashion. Is this common. No camera to hand at time on canal at Brentford?
Hi Linda.

I am glad that I am giving somebody some enjoyment. It can be a bit hard to come up with photos that are interesting during this relatively quiet period.
