Here as well as Bushy and Richmond Park things were a little quiet on the migrant front. Saying that I was to busy to check some of the locations that had been holding migrants. Here are a few snaps from these parks.

A Jackdaw tries to harass one juvenile but soon gave up. It was a different story when a musket gave chase. The Hobby had to take quick evasive action to shake him off. Unfortunately I came across a dead juvenile female Sparrowhawk, possible killed by corvids.

Hi Tony,

At what time of day did you take those photos of the Hobbies?
Hi Jack.

I took these shots of the birds enjoying breakfast around 7.40am to 8.20am.

Ok thanks, And was this over the Brewhouse area? Or was it out in the open looking west over the woodland gardens?

Jack
It is mainly over the western side of the woodland gardens and not easy to see for the general public. There might be a spot at a bend in the Longford River upstream from the Waterhouse pond. You might be able to the birds above an open area in the wood or as they fly in.
