Regent’s Park

Shoveler: 17 on the lake.

Kingfisher: at least one still present.

Tree Pipit: one flew SW at 3.17pm.

Whinchat: one was in the chat bush in area 36.

House Martin: 40+ over the lake.

Common Whitethroat: 1 with the chat and 2 more in area 41.

Reed Warbler: 1 in area 41, nowhere near any water, unless you count the drinking pool.

Spotted Flycatcher: one in area 41.

Richmond Park

Hobby: 3 over Pen Ponds and were also hawking insects near Richmond Gate.

Teal: one sleeping in the reed bed on Upper Pen Ponds

Water Rail: two calling from the reed bed at the western end of Upper Pen Ponds.

This juvenile Swallow had better look out or it might be on the Bushy Park breakfast menu. Another unfortunate bird was, though I am not sure what species, the Hobby was keeping it close to his tail.
