Regent’s Park

I had a good walk around the park early this morning the aim being to track down a Firecrest. I did manage to either see or hear at least 14 Goldcrests  but not a peep of a Firecrest.

After that I spent sometime in area 9.

The pair of Kestrels are still hanging around the Wetland. At this time of year they normally have moved away.

This is one of 3 fully-winged Barnacle Geese that are not part of the collection and normally winter away from the park.
