Regent’s Park

I was busy today, so could only manage a few minutes by the lake. The male Great crested Grebes was on the nest with the female waiting for him to get off. They eventually swapped places, the male immediately attacking a Coot that came to close. He then mated with the female, but he will have to work on his foreplay, in fact there wasn’t any. After dismounting and looking proud of himself he then took on an even larger fish eating bird.
