29th March

Regent’s Park

I was hoping for better, possibly the weather was to good and migrants were making the most of it. The only migrant of note was a Common Sandpiper, it must have been feeding on the western side of The Bandstand Island. Unfortunately I was on the eastern side and only saw it when it headed off northwards calling.

Great Crested Grebe: 4 pairs and a lone male.

Little Grebe: 4 pairs.

Blackcap: 4 singing males.

Chiffchaff: 4 males.
