Sibling rivalry in Great Crested Grebes.
The slightly older chick wants mum and all the fish for himself.
The smaller chick keeps a safe distance.

The smaller chick (foreground) looks down while the larger chick (background) looks proud. He then joins the adult male for some shallow fishing.
He takes umbrage when the fish is presented to the small chick.
Eventually the smaller bird gets a fish and the bully relents for a while and they both get back on the female.
