Bushy Park

This first group of birds were all visible from the viewing point opposite the scrape.

Teal: 5 were on the scrape at 8.45am

Common Buzzard: one flew across the field.

Water Rail: one was on the scrape.

Stonechat: one was feeding between the Scrape and the View Point.

Redwing: 30 were in the trees that run down the middle of the meadow.

Cetti’s Warbler: one was in the scrub just north of the recently pollarded Willow.

Chiffchaff: one was along Dukes Head Passage.

Reed Bunting: a pair were feeding around the pools, occasionally joining a small Goldfinch flock in the scrub near the screen.

Grassland by Canal Plantation

Meadow Pipit: 12 were feeding close to the deer herd.
