Richmond Park

We held our first training  session for our volunteers that help us by surveying the park for nests of Oak Processionary Moth Caterpillars. This gave me time to pop down to Pen Ponds and check on the Common Terns. I was happy to see 3 pairs were using the rafts and tray provided for them. I didn’t have time to look else where.

Regent’s Park

After work I popped down to the lake to see how the grebes by the Bandstand Island were doing. I was glad to see that both chicks were still alive although one was much larger and would attack his sibling.
