Richmond Park

Great crested Grebe: a very nervous bird, that may have landed just after dawn, took off and after a couple of circuits of the area dropped back down on to the water.

Mute Swan: 11 almost landed on Upper Pen Ponds but probably thought better of it when the resident male flexed his muscles.

Kestrel: 3(2f) adults Lawn Field.

Cuckoo: one flew over Pembroke Lodge and into Sidmouth Wood at 7.55am.

Skylark: 1 singing Lawn Field.
