Bushy Park

A slight increase in the number of migrants present in the two areas that I tend to look at. They are the hawthorns and bracken on the southern side of Hawthorn Cottage(HC) (100m north of Heron Pond). The other is the area behind the fence that runs north of Dukes Head Passage (DHP).

C.Buzzard: an adult and a juvenile female were over the Brewhouse Meadow.

Cetti’s Warbler: 2 males were singing just north of DHP.

Willow Warbler: 7+, with several singing.

Chiffchaff: 8+.

C.Whitethroat: 12+

Reed Bunting: 6 in bracken south of (HC).

Regent’s Park

Swift: 24 over the lake.

Garden Warbler: 1 in area 41.

Blackcap: 10+

Willow Warbler: 2 in the Cricket Pen, area 31.
