Bushy Park

Hobby: a pair successfully fledged 3 young in a very public part of the park. The birds have moved to an area on the western side of the park.

Common Buzzard: 2 juveniles were being mobbed by corvids and parakeets over the Brew House Meadow this morning.

Common Redstart: one was in an Oak by the close to the wooden gates along Dukes Head Passage.

Cetti’s Warbler: a male was sing very well between the Iron Bridge and the Brick Bridge on the Longford River.

Common Whitethroat: 2 by Dukes Head Passage.

Spotted Flycatcher: a bird was flycatching from Elderberry bushes just north of Dukes Head Passage.

Regent’s Park

Hobby: 2 high flyers headed south at lunchtime, whilest these were being watched a very distant large raptor could not be identified.

Common Redstart: 3 males were present; 1 in area 25 and 2 in area 39.

Lesser Whitethroat: 1 in area 39.

Common Whitethroat: 2 in area 39.

Willow Warbler: 2 in area 39.

Chiffchaff: 6 in area 39 & 41.

Spotted Flycatcher: 7 birds were seen today; 4 near the Reddy Money Fountain in area 25 and 3 in areas 39 & 40.

Pied Flycatcher: one was very elusive and seemed to tag on to a tit flock in area 29.
