Bushy Park

Clear overnight skies brought the first autumn movement of thrushes over the park.

Fieldfare: 5 flew west.
Redwing: between 6.30am and 9.30am 450 plus headed west in various sized flocks.
Song Thrush: 25 flew west.
Stonechat: 1f in Bracken south of Upper Lodge Road.
Cetti's Warbler: 1 singing near Dukes Head Passage.
Chiffchaff: 3 in scrub just north of Dukes Head Passage.
Siskin: birds were heard in the Woodland Gardens.

Some wonderful pictures here TD as always. Your efforts are much appreciated by many I'm sure, but if time allows you, it would be wonderful if you were able to name the birds featured on the featured photo's. Hope you can oblige!

Thanks a lot Tony. I'm a novice and have taken to visiting Bushy & Richmond Parks. I use your description of locations to try and see what you do but I guess I'll have to get up a bit earlier! Thanks again and please keep up your great work
