Regent's Park

Richmond Park

I was working in Richmond Park today looking for Oak Processionary Moth caterpillar nests that may have been missed earlier in the year.  I didn't have time to actually look for birds apart from those that found me.

Sparrowhawk: a male was almost hovering above Pembroke slopes.
Redwing: 25 around Pembroke Lodge.
Siskin: 3 Pembroke Lodge.
Lesser Redpoll: 2 flew west over Pembroke Lodge.

Regent's Park

I popped in briefly to see if the Water Rails were showing. I didn't have long to wait before one showed just over halfway down the ditch, then the 2nd bird showed at the far end.
